    The anticipated attendance for this FREE event is 3,500

    San Diego Community is preparing for HOPE in the Park. The event will offer a
    host of activities for everyone, including resources and information for parents,
    teenagers, caregivers, educators and community leaders.

    We will begin the day with the entire San Diego community engaging in Regional
    Walks throughout the County, honoring those who have lost their live to family
    violence. All regions will come together and meet in Balboa Park to spend a day
    together—laughing and playing, creating positive interactions and building
    community resources. We will end the day with a candle light vigil sending a
    resounding call of action to our community to prevent future violence.

    The San Diego Domestic Violence Council, San Diego County Commission for
    Children, Youth & Families and Operation for HOPE Foundation are the
    coordinating bodies for HOPE in the Park.
