GiG2 Group, Inc. Releases Passive Neutral Side Electric Saving Energy Device

Gainesville, Georgia, June 10, 2010 - For the first time in energy management, GiG2 Group, Inc. has released a
passive electric saving device that attaches to the neutral bus; products similar in category attach to the “hot
side.” This new device is affordable. Lab tests as well as business and residential responses are positive.

The Voltage Control Guard (VCG1) is different. The VCG1 is electrically installed in parallel to the neutral bus in
an electric panel. The device immediately begins working. The VCG1 reduces daily KWH consumption by
inductively capturing noise or unusable current on the neutral line and restores it to phase and polarity so the
broad band frequency noises are not dragged back into the consuming loads each time the AC power cycles (60
times per second in the U.S.). There are no lights, switches, capacitors, resistors, circuit boards, or other
electronic components – it does not require or draw power.

GiG2 Group, Inc. continues laboratory testing in a controlled environment and collecting field data through
distributor installations. Field data shows savings in daily KWH range from 5 to 20+ percent. WAJA Lab data
collected using their ANSI C12.20 class 0.5 revenue grade meter on an independent 3rd party test bench, shows 3
phase savings in daily KWH range from 5 to 7 percent on fluorescent lighting, HID lighting, and switch mode
power supplies on computers. VCG1 features simple NEMA 3R weather proof housing that is grounded,
eliminating any radiated or electromagnetic emissions or RF transmissions.

MET Labs© tested (Nation’s oldest NRTL as outlined by NEC©) and safety certified the Voltage Control Guard
(VCG) to UL-916 standards and CSA-C22.2 standards. Each model’s design is certified by Met Labs©. The VCG is
suitable for commercial and residential installation, requires measurable noise on the neutral. The device is not
suitable for delta-wired panels.
