TECHNICAL REPORT
MV 1 LV ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IN ELECTR!ICAL STATION
1 ... -INTRODUCTION
The scope of this report is to define the M.V. & L.V. System which shall supply the required energy of the buildings which exist on the area of ZWARA GENERAL HOSPITAL.
2.-PROJECT DATA
• Operating Voltage of MV Supply System:
11.000 Volt A.C.
• Operating Voltage of LV Supply System:
4001230 Volt A.G.
• Frequency of Supply:
50 HZ.
• Maximum Voltage Drop
-On Main Distributors:
3%
-At most Distant POints of Supply:
4%
• Neutral Configuration:
TN-S
• Short Circuit Current Max:
65kA
3.-ELECTRIC SUPPLY SYSTEM
This section deals with the power supply system within the electric station whid"i will serve to all buildings in ZWARA GENERAL HOSPITAL AREA.
Electrical Equipments which wiU take place in Electrical Staiionare Switchboard Medium Voltage MV, Transformers, Diesel Generators, Low Voltage Main Distribution panel-boards and Uninterruptable Power Source.

DRY TYPE (CAST RESINE) TRANSFORMERS
2000 KVA Rated 4 each Transfonnerwill serve to step down the 11 KV. Power to 0,4 KV.
Each Transfonner will have separate ccmosrtments with service door located in Electrical Station. DIESEL GENERATOR SETS
2500 KVA Stand by (2250 KVA Pnme power) rated 4 each Diesel Generator complete with own daily fuel: tanks wi,l:! be located in EI'ectlic Station.
4.~ELECTRIC mSTRIBUTION SYSTEM
The electrical loads of the project was distributed ,into three Low Voltage Main Distribution panelboards MDP1, MDP2, MDP3 and feed mainly by three dry type transformers TR1, TR2, TR3 with capacities of 2000 KVA.
Each of the 2000 KVA Transformer (Irt, TR2, TR3)shall be coupled and automatically connected with one 2250 KVA Diesel Generator (GEN~1, GEN-2, GEN-3) on separate bus bar in order to give continuous .energy to Ule buildings.
There will be a fourth bus-bar (TR4 % GEN4) of which one 2000 KVA Transformer and one 2250 KVA Generator are connected and this bus-bar will serve as a spare for any of operational 3 Transformers (TR1, TR2, TR3,) or Generators (GEN-l, GEN-2, GEN-3) fails,
Switching operations shall be automatically realized and' monitored by Scada and Automation System which shai'l be installed in Operation Room of Electrical Station.
Transformers -Low Voltage Main Distributionand Diesel Generator-Low Voltage Main Distribution panel-boards shall be connected' with 4000 A. Bus-bars.
In Transformer load calculations, minimum %10 percent future loads have been taken into considerations.
Transformers load distributions, diversity factors and demand a factor whi'cn was considered in transformer catculauons are indicated in detail as below.
5.-UNINTERRUPTABLE POWEIR SOURCE (UPS)
50 KVA rated Uninterruptable Power Souroe unit: shalt supply energy for the switching operanons, Scada System and security system requirements during 60 minutes in Electrical Stations.
