Endorse Richard Brodsky for Attorney General

Today, Attorney General candidate Richard Brodsky announced the endorsements of

the Jewish Press, Long Island Environmental Voters Forum and Transport Workers Union in
his race for Attorney General.

The Jewish Press, America's largest Jewish weekly, endorsed Richard Brodsky for
Attorney General, calling his record on issues that matter to them “compelling” and that
“Mr. Brodsky has always been responsive to the needs of the Jewish community and over
the years, enjoyed a good working relationship with Jewish community groups and leaders.
An accomplished attorney and seasoned legislator, he is well qualified to serve as the state's
chief legal officer.”

Brodsky stated, “It's an honor to receive the endorsement of America's largest

independent Jewish weekly. I place a great deal of pride in my Jewish heritage and I'm
proud that they have recognized my record of reform and vision for the Attorney General's
office.”

The Long Island Environmental Voters Forum, a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots

organization created to identify, recruit, endorse and actively campaign for pro-environment
candidates for public office, also endorsed Richard Brodsky for Attorney General, crediting
his strong record on environmental issues in the New York State Assembly.

The Transport Workers Union Local 100 also endorsed Richard Brodsky for
Attorney General in recognition of his long recording of work to improve New York’s
Metropolitan Transportation Authority. TWU Represents 38,000 members throughout New
York City.

Brodsky stated, “As Primary Day approaches I'm proud to receive such a wide range
of support from environmental advocates, the Jewish community and organized labor. Our
campaign has the most diverse support across the state and I'm confident that our coalition
will lead us to victory on September 14th.”
