Certain Clarifications on Certification Courses

1. Total Number of Class Hours

40-50 hours.

2. Reference Books

Reference Books are kept at the Library facilitating members for further reading
and enrichment of their knowledge in the respective field.

3. Background Material

Brief material in the form of literature surveys, in-house background material ,


faculty inputs etc will be provided to the participants.

4. Attendance

Compulsory for all classes. However, the Chairman of the respective committee
has the discretion for minimum waiver of days/hours in exceptional cases.

5. Case Studies & Dissertation

Members attending these classes are also expected to do case studies and submit
suitable report which will be a part of requirement of completion of certification
course.

6. Group Discussion

Groups will be formed in the classes for exploration, experimenting on practical


insights and arriving at meaningful consensus.

7. E-Learning

In order to spread the courses amongst members in other cities (except Metros),
efforts are actively taken for introduction of E-Learning.

8. Examination and Evaluation

There will be an examination at the end of the course (most likely and shortly
after the completion of class hours). The examination will consist of Multiple
Objective Type questions (100 questions) as well as subjective questions. There
will be appropriate mix of objective and subjective questions.

9. Requirements for Passing the Certification course

a) 100% attendance in classes


b) Examination
c) Project Report or Dissertation on a topic related
d) Participation in Group Discussions
