    1. The main addressees were present.

    Item 1 : Parliamentary Issues

    2. Dr Kelly will give evidence to the FAC on 15 July . The FCO is drafting the
    Government's response to the Committee and will circulate it for comment
    . A draft
    Government response to the FAC will be distributed for comment. Although the
    Govecnment has some time before it has to respond, it would be sensible to prepare as
    much ofthe ground as possible. The clerk of the FAC has responded to the redactions to
    the transcript of the Foreign Secretary's closed evidence session suggested by the FCO.
    They will need to be reviewed,

    ACTION : FCO to circulate the draft Government response .


    ISS to circulate closed session transcript .
