Compatibility: the Clown Loach is an ideal addition to a peaceful community tank.
Distribution:S Asia
The Clown Loach is great addition to a peaceful aquarium, however this must be the only type of
loach or they will fight.
The Clown Loach is beautiful to look at; it is orange with 3 black bands across the arced body of
the clown loach.
The pectoral, caudal and pelivic fins are orange with a tint of red, the dorsal fin and anal fin are
black with paler edges.
The small scales give the Clown Loach a very smooth matt finish.
The Clown Loach has an erectile spine in front of the eye, which may snag when capturing, so be
careful with aquarium nets.
Tip: The Clown Loach is better kept with a few in the tank.
Again like most loaches the Clown Loach will occupy the lower levels of your aquarium.
