TMS Project Open Issues

1. As there are three analog inputs to the DSP processor i.e.,

a. Command input

i. What is the command input used for, for example speed or


direction of rotation etc.

b. I sense (current sense) input

i. If this is the current drawn by the motor then what is the


threshold current value the I sense should not cross.

c. Fin input

i. What is the Fin input used for?

2. Hall sensor inputs.

a. Since the PWM outputs depend on the hall sensor inputs how to relate
these inputs.

Whether hall sensor inputs are used for speed detection, current
sensing, positioning or switching.

3. PWM output

a. Frequency

i. What is the PWM output frequency to be generated?
