    This has reference to your letter No. 3554/Eii dated 27th April, 2006 seeking
    clarification on the status of the examinations conducted by Institution of Surveyors, New
    Delhi.

    We would like to inform you that the ‘Final Examination of the ‘Institution of Surveyors,
    New Delhi’ in (i) Land Surveying (ii) Hydrographic Surveying (iii) Building and Quantity
    Surveying has been recognised by the Government of India for purpose of employment to
    superior posts and services for which the minimum essential qualification is a degree in
    the appropriate field of Engineering.
