    Section 6.2.2 - Job Site Worker Requirements
    Safety Orientation. Ensure employees receive general and site-specific orientation.
    Section 6.2.3 - Contractor Leadership (Field Supervision) Requirements
    New Employee Orientation. Contractor supervision and crews are required to provide a comprehensive
    and straightforward orientation to the job, crew, or worksite for new and inexperienced personnel.

    Contractor Minimum EHS Requirements – Attachment II


    General Orientation. Before beginning Work, Contractor shall ensure that all Contractor Personnel read
    and understand the Aera Contractor EHS Handbook. Safety rules in the handbook are basic and general
    in nature and do not cover every working condition. Additional local rules and procedures may apply.
    Prior to beginning Work, Contractor shall show all Contractor Personnel the Buyer-provided COPS
    Contractor Safety Orientation video. Contractor shall have all Contractor Personnel complete a Buyer-
    provided written examination following the video.
    Site-Specific Orientation. Buyer provides site specific orientation at most field locations. This
    orientation identifies hazards that may be encountered. Contractor shall ensure that Contractor
    Personnel attend the first available site specific orientation. Buyer’s representatives will assist with
    scheduling.

    Basic protocols (below) will be used in the 2010 assessment of contractor orientation.
    1. Auditor will use each locations site specific orientation to review compliance with requirements.
    2. A percentage of all workers will be assessed on their knowledge of the site specific orientation
    requirements.
    3. Site specific orientation will be assessed for compliance with Aera requirements.
