Global Warming

1. Definition of Global Warming

Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of
Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-20th century
and its continuation.

2. The Causes of Global Warming

Almost 100% of the temperature increase over the last 50 years

has been due to the increase in the atmosphere of greenhouse
gas concentrations like water vapor, carbon dioxide (CO2),
methane and ozone. Greenhouse gases are those gases that
caused the greenhouse effect. The largest source of greenhouse
gas is the burning of fossil fuels leading to the emission of carbon
dioxide.

The reflecting back of heat energy by the atmosphere is called

the "greenhouse effect".

Truthfully, the true cause of global warming is our thoughtless

attitude to Nature.

3. The Effect of Global Warming

The effects, or impacts, of climate change may be physical,

ecological, or social

Physical impacts:
Extreme weather

Local climate change

Ecological impacts:

Glacier retreat and disappearance

Oxygen depletion

Acidification

Sea level rise

Temperature rise

Social impacts:

Food supply

Health

4. The Solution of Global Warming

We need to change. We are the true cause that leads our nature to
global warming. From little things that we can do like reduce energy
consumption, reduce the activities that emits carbon dioxide, barely
using air conditioner and another hairstyle product that contains
CFC. All of them are the little things that we can do, but will lead
into a big thing of solution.
