authorities that are doing effort to regulate the status and the qualification needs for the VIP

ISA’s Close Protection Qualification Program

In order to work in close protection in the UK, you must hold an SIA Close Protection license. To gain this
license close protection officers must successfully complete an accredited close protection course by an
accredited training provider and hold a recognized qualification certificate for that training.

ISA Group is accredited to run close protection courses, to equip individuals with the skills and
knowledge required by the SIA - Security Industry Authority.

Participants who pass the exams at the end of the course will be awarded a City & Guilds 1903 certificate
in close protection operations by City & Guilds UK that will allow them to get the UK – SIA license to practice
close protection.

This course covers the syllabus required by the UK SIA for licensing of Close Protection Officers in the
United Kingdom, and also includes modules covering ISA-ISRAEL protection concepts, methods and tactics
as it is qualified and certified by ISA-ISRAEL.

This entity allows similar accreditation based on bilateral agreements by many other countries worldwide.

of firms who employ our graduates and this aside graduates will have the full support of our team if they
should need any help or advice in the world of close protection.

Each stage can be taken separately. CPOs who are already certified by other institutes are welcome to join
us too.
Special notes
The continuous process required for the training of an experienced and efficient protector takes time and
we do not presume that we will turn a trainee into an expert protector in a short training period.
The Israeli passport control authority will not stamp in your passport if you will ask it!

ISA’s Close Protection Qualification Program

STAGE 1
INTRODUCTION & SUITABILITY TRAINING FOR CLOSE PROTECTION
Duration — 1 weekend
Locations — UK, GERMANY, ITALY, SWEDEN, SPAIN, SWITZERLAND

Who should attend?

Men & women, age 21-50 who wish to enter the CP field at the highest level -
No former experience required!

Objectives of the training

1. To enable the applicants to test their fitness and ability to work in the CP field.
2. To give the applicants or their employers a prognosis, in order to prevent dissatisfaction
and unnecessary expenses from those who may achieve low scores in the CP Operatives
course.
3. To introduce Israeli CP instructional concepts, methods, and tactics.
4. To introduce Israeli tactical response and instructional methods - armed and unarmed.

Method
A preparatory training will be held three consecutive days prior to the start of
the CP course.
Various methods will be used to assess the characteristics of the applicants.
Testing entails extreme physical and emotional stress.
Evaluations and interviews will be held during and after the tests in order to
assess various characteristics needed in order to qualify as a premium candidate for
CP Operations.
