Street market is an outdoor market such as traditionally held in a market square or in

a market town, and are often held only on particular days of the week. Very similar markets,
or bazaars can also be found in large enclosed spaces, instead of on a street.

COLONIAL MARKET

During the American Colonial Period the Market was a place for various Merchants and
Craftspeople to display and sell their wares. Now the Internet and the World Wide Web
have almost taken over the roll of the old Markets.

market, a means by which the exchange of goods and services takes place as
a result of buyers and sellers being in contact with one another, either directly or
through mediating agents or institutions.

Markets in the most literal and immediate sense are places in which things are
bought and sold. In the modern industrial system, however, the market is not a
place; it has expanded to include the whole geographical area in which sellers
compete with each other for customers.
