Monthly activities:

-Follow up of ongoing projects:

TCP SUD/ 3301-

1. Familiarization with the project and its ongoing activities.

2. Participate on one virtual meeting with the project team (Mr. Fred
Bitanihiewe, Senior International Consultant, and Mr. Saad El Medani
Ahmed, National Consultant) in view of the preparation of i) the proposal
for strengthening the Unit for Policy, Planning and Budget of Ministry of
Agriculture of Sudan and ii) the draft project for implementation of the
recommendation of the indicated proposal.

LOA-Angola

1. Hold various virtual meeting with Mr. Paulo André Camuri and Mr. José
Rente, International Consultant on Agricultural Policy, for the
implementation of the Letter of Agreement (on file).
2. Assist Dr. Camuri in editing the “Manual de Marco Lógico para
Preparação e Execução de Projectos”

GCP/GLO/267/JPN

1. Familiarization with case studies (Brazil and Paraguay) and lessons

learned on Support to study on appropriate policy measures to increase
investments in agriculture and to stimulate food production.
 2. Assist in the revision of the TOR for taking stock on the lessons learned
of agricultural credit institutions for international investments in the
agricultural sector (Annex 1)

-Easy Pol:

1. Familiarization with Easy-Pol (on-line resource materials for policy

making) guidelines

2. Adaptation of various papers to the Easy-Pol guidelines (Annex II)

3. Familiarization with FAO Policy Learning Programme 2009, including

discussion with Mr. Calegar

-Logical Framework:

Reading, navigation and discussion of the Logical Framework Handbook and

Power Point presentation with Mr. Calegar

-Editing:

Editing of a final report concerning the project TCP SUD/ 3301 and of the
Proposal for the Reorganization of the Agricultural Research System of Angola
