BAND EXCURSION INFORMATION NOTE

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Approval has been given for the SENIOR BAND to perform at the Galston Eisteddfod on Thursday 21st October
2010.

PERFORMANCE THURSDAY 21ST OCTOBER 2010

Transport: Bus
Time: Bus will depart school at 8.00am SHARP to arrive by 8.30pm at Galston
Uniting Church to perform at 9.00am. NB: It is very important for us to
arrive 1/2 hour before performance. The band will need to be warmed up
prior to the performance.

The bus will return to school approximately 10am.

Tickets: Entry to the Eisteddfod is free
Parking: Free parking
Additional Information:  Children are to wear full BAND UNIFORM. This includes black
pants, black socks, black polished shoes and band shirt
 Children to bring instruments and music folders.
 If your child is unable to attend, please let Belinda Dunn know ASAP.
 Please note completion time is approximate as festivals can run early or
late.
 Please ensure your child has a drink bottle (labelled) for the excursion.

Children will be accompanied behind stage by Mr Jock Heath (Conductor) along with Belinda Dunn (Senior Band
Co-Ordinator) and Karen Page (Band Convenor) and a staff member from NWPS.

of the principal and that travel will be by bus.
