ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 15

DESIGNATING THE VICE~PRESIDENT TO ACT FOR AND ON BEHALF

OF THE PRESIDENT DURING HER FOREIGN TRIPS

WHEREAS, the designation of the Vice-President to act for and on

behalf of the President during her foreign trips will ensure national
stability and delivery of basic services;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL~ARROYO, President

of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by
law, do hereby order:

1. The Vice-President shall act for and on behalf of the

President during the time that she is outside the Philippines.

2. The Executive Secretary and all concerned Departments and

agencies shall assist the Vice-President in the discharge of his functions.

3. All acts of the Vice-President for and on behalf of the

President during her absence shall be approved directly by the President
or through the Executive Secretary.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 6 th day of August, in the year of
