1. Title. A brief summary of the topic not exceeding 15 words. Mention of the nature of the
study. All typed in capital letters.
a. Contemporary issues and raising research questions suggested by findings in the recent
literature.
b. Brief explanation of planned methods and probable conclusions.
3. Table of Contents. It will contain all the elements of the proposal along with their page
numbers. It will include:
a. Title page
b. Abstract
c. Table of contents
d. Statement of the problem,
e. Review of literature,
f. Methodology
g. Appendices and Reference list.
If an entry is longer than one line then it should be single-spaced and between entries it should be
double-spaced.
a. A scholarly review of earlier work relevant to the concerned topic providing appropriate
history and recognizing the priority of the work of others.
6. Chapter III. Methodology. This section will explain in detail the ways of conducting the
study. Along with mentioning the methods in detail, it will also explain how the methods
are related to your research question. You will explain what you intend to do, the reason
behind it and how you plan to do it.
7. References. This section will contain all citations included in your proposal in the
required academic style. It will be found at the end of the proposal.
8. Appendices. This section will include data-collection tools, such as IRB materials,
consent forms, questionnaires, survey forms, letters of introduction to subjects, and the
like.
