6th Graduation Ceremony

The State University of Zanzibar (SUZA) wishes to announce to the graduating students and the
general public that the 6th Graduation Ceremony will be held on Wednesday 6th October, 2010 at
Victoria Garden, Mnazi Mmoja from 1400 hours. The Chancellor of the State University of Zanzibar
and the President of Zanzibar, His Excellency Dr. Amani Abeid Karume will confer and present the
University awards.

Graduating students are strictly required to observe and adhere to the following graduation
requirements:

1. Graduands are requested to attend the rehearsal on Tuesday 5th October, 2010 starting at 0900
hours. Those who will not participate in the rehearsal shall not be allowed to attend the
ceremony and they will be awarded their awards in absentia.

2. For the occasion, every graduand will have to hire a graduation gown which costs only Tsh.
10,000/- which is non-refundable. Gowns should be collected from the University Storeroom,
Vuga Campus during the official working hours starting Monday 4th October, 2010.
Graduands should return the hired gowns not later than ten days after the graduation
ceremony.

3. Each graduand should meet his/her traveling and boarding costs and the State University of
Zanzibar shall not be liable to reimburse any expenses.

4. The names of the prospective graduands will be displayed in the University website
www.suza.ac.tz on Friday 1st October, 2010.
