Vision
• Empower Indian enterprise by inculcating knowledge that
will be the catalyst of growth in the barrierless technology
driven global market and help them upscale, align and
emerge as formidable player in respective business
segments.
INTRODUCTION
• Established in 1920 by promoter chambers, representing all regions
of India.
• India's premier apex chamber covering membership of over 2 lakh
companies and professionals across the country.
• As a representative organ of Corporate India, ASSOCHAM
articulates the genuine, legitimate needs and interests of its
members.
• They believe education, IT, BT, Health, Corporate Social
responsibility and environment to be the critical success factors.

• ASSOCHAM represents the interests of industry and trade,
interfaces with Government on policy issues and interacts with
counterpart international organizations to promote bilateral
economic issues.
• ASSOCHAM is represented on all national and local bodies and is,
thus, able to pro-actively convey industry viewpoints, as also
communicate and debate issues relating to public-private
partnerships for economic development.

interactive platform to Members for interaction and aid formulating Policy
recommendations so as to facilitate Economic, Industrial and Social
Growth.

• Organises seminars/workshops/training programmes on TQM, ISO 9000,
ISO 14000, TPM and related topics. Provides guidance in adoption of lean
operation practices including ISO 9000, ISO 14000. Networks with other
operational bodies towards promoting new concepts of management.
• ·        Energy Efficiency Centre
• An Energy Efficiency and Conservation Promotion, Guidance, Counselling
and Consultancy Centre functioning at ASSOCHAM disseminates
information about energy efficiency measures and provides guidance in
financing energy efficiency projects.
•   Participate in the Expert Committees/Task Forces of
ASSOCHAM.
• ASSOCHAM has more than 40 Expert Committees which regularly
take up the Issues of its Members interest in various fields with the
Policy Makers.
• ·        Redressal of general/common problems of Members at
Central/State Government levels and other Institutions.
• ·        Networking with Indian missions and counterpart
organizations across the globe.
• ·        Assist identifying joint venture partners at various national
and international events organized by ASSOCHAM.
