transfer to a police job in
Stanford in Gloustershire
which is a massive
comparison to London
because it’s countryside
and it’s very dull and old
fashioned. This makes it

will want to watch it

The police officers are
stereotyped because they
act as you would think a
police officer would act,
there is a rigid hierarchy of
police officers. There is a
stereotype with the
lifestyle in the countryside
has no sense of authority
and in the city of London
the authority has authority
showing why Angel is seen
as weird in Stanford
because he picks up on the
littlest things and is really
good at his job whereas in
Stanford there slower and
have no sense of authority
e.g. When Danny drives
the car when he’s drunk. It
appeals to the British
audience because they
would want to see if the

The movie has lots of
humour in it and is a very
humorous film as it’s a

in Danny and Nicholas
makes it funny because
they fight and they are
completely different to
each other. Because we
construct our own
stereotypes of police
officers and it contradicts
our expectations. It is
derived by stereotypes.

British audience because it
has comedy that British
people understand and
because the films that
they have been in before
are British, British people
will want to watch it.
Camera work and editing
The film uses a lot of close-
ups and goes from one bit
to another really fast using
fast pasted editing, making
it seem that it’s exciting
and the slow parts make it
seem really boring and as
if time is going slowly. The
close up of faces shows
the characters emotions in
depth and you can see his
reactions to different
events that he goes
through. It makes the
simpler bits of the film
more watchable.
