I. CONCEPT:
II.ILLUSTRATION:
III. EXPLANATION:
The child’s behavior and perception is product of the elders' guidance
and facilities excluding heredity. Thorndike’s Connectionism Theory
refers about the original stimulus-response framework of behavioral
psychology. This explains about the importance and strong bond of
stimulus and response in a certain situation. That is why he came up with
three primary laws:

➔ Law of Effect – this refers to the behavior of the consequences given

whether positive (reward) and negative reward (punishment)

➔ Laws of Exercise – This will reflect with the saying, “Practice makes
perfect” The more practice you conduct, the stronger it will become.

➔ Law of Readiness – This principle gives the learner more readiness to

respond to the stimulus given.

Ex. The teacher will first state the question after calling a student to
answer. For the student to be ready and be confident to his/her answer.

IV. BACKGROUND IMPLICATION:

SCHOOL: The institution should required the teachers to apply this

theory in order to have a smooth flow of the learning process.

TEACHER: Apply the principles in this theory(law of readiness, law of

exercise and law of effect),

STUDENTS: Should be participative and have enthusiasm in engaging

every school's activities.
