 In India it is growing at 20% and grow
upto 35%.
 PSU banks has huge market share as
compared to Private banks.
 RB of AXIS bank is growing at 20% and
expected to be 25% soon.

 To grow in RB AXIS bank will look for :

 Direct tie ups with food product firm and
micro finance arms.
 Tie up with Govt. sponsored schemes like
NREGA
 Planning to cover up more rural area.

 To attract high net-worth clients , more

Premium branches will be opened.
 AXIS bank emphasizes on direct lending to
farmers.
 AXIS’s total agricultural Portfolio is growing at
30% on year basis.
 Started loans against gold to farmers.

 Gujarat contributes 7-8 % of business.

 Have presence in all districts of Gujarat except
one.
 Trying to invest more in SME , Port and power
projects.
 AXIS bank runs only three branches in
Singapore and Hongkong.
 RBI has also given nod for AXIS
subsidiary in UK.
 In near future they will enter West Asia
and Sri Lanka.
 Bank will have more representative
offices overseas.
