SLIDING SCALE

i) Officers in Scale I and II, one year after reaching the maximum
in their respective scales
shall be allowed to earn further increment inculding stagnation
increment in the next higher
scale subject crossing of and efficiency bar.

ii) Earning of increment in the next higher scale shall not amount
to promotion in that scale
and the officer in receipt of such increment shall not be given
any privileges, perquisites
dueties, responsibilities or posts of the higher scales.

STAGNATION INCREMENTS: (Only for the MM III, MMII


and JM I)

Officer will be allowed the first stagnation increment after complting


3 year at the top of scale.
Second stagnation increment allowed on completing 6 year at the top
of JM I only. Stagnation
increment qualifies for DA, HRA etc., and superannuationg.

EFFICIENCY BAR:

Efficiency bar shall apply only in the following cases.

a) Officer is under suspension


b) Disciplinary action has been initiated against an officer
c) An adverse remark in the year previous to the year in which the
officer
was due to cross the E.B.
The E.B. is to be crossed for getting the benifit of higher pay of
next grade I to II and
for II to III (BC 91/106 date 15.09.1997)

FIXED PERSONAL PAY:


Officer who are granted and advance increment for computerization
shall draw fixed personal
allowance one year after reaching the maximum. FFP together with
HRA there on (if payable) shall
remain frozen for then entire period of service (PQP if any, payable in
the year of receipt of FPP
shall stand shifted to next year)

On and form 1st November2004, Fixed Personal Pay together with


House Rent Allowace shall be
at the following rates and shall remain frozen for the entire period of
service.
