COLLAR CAST

COLLAR CAST- use for the affection of the cervical spine.

MINERVA CAST- use for the affection of upper thoracic and cervical spine.

RIZZER’S JACKET- use for the affection of the thoracic – lumbar spine.

HANGING CAST

HANGING CAST- use for the affection of shaft of the humerus and shoulder joint.

SHORT ARM CIRCULAR CAST


SHORT ARM CIRCULAR CAST- use for the affection of wrist and fingers.

LONG ARM CIRCULAR CAST

LONG ARM CIRCULAR CAST- use for the affection of radius- ulna.

FUNCTIONAL CAST- use for the affection of shaft of the humerus and shoulder joint which
allows flexion and extension of the humerus with callus formation.

SHOULDER SPICA CAST- use for the affection of the upper portion of the humerus and shoulder
joint.
AIRPLANE CAST- for recurrent shoulder dislocation.

SHORT LEG CIRCULAR CAST- for the affection of ankle and toes.

LONG LEG CIRCULAR CAST- affection of the tibia- fibula.


CYLINDER CAST- use for the affection of the patella

PANTALON CAST- use for the affection of the pelvis.

PATELLAR TENDON BEARING CAST- use for the affection of the tibia- fibula with callus
formation.
DELVIT CAST- use for the affection of distal 3rd of tibia with callus formation.

ISCHIAL WEIGHT BEARING CAST- aka. QUADRELATERAL CAST, use for the affection of
shaft of femur with callus formation.

BRACE CAST- use for the affection of distal 3rd femur and proximal 3rd tibia which allows flexion and extension of
lower extremity.

BASKET CAST- use for massive bone injury, to facilitate dressing of wound.

SINGLE HIP SPICA CAST- for affection of hip and one femur.

1 ½ SPICA CAST- for the affection of both hips and one femur.
DOUBLE HIP SPICA CAST- for the affection of both hip and two femur.
