A software that has been created for

modify to suit their needs.
According to the Open Source Initiative, Open
Source consists of 10 points, which are
reproduced

5. No discrimination against persons or groups
6. No discrimination against fields of endeavor

movement in 1983
• Mr.Richard Stallman started
this software movement
which provided free and

• Developed in 1970’s by Mr.Kenneth
Thompson & Dennis Kitchie.
