i. What is Data Cracker 2000?

Data Cracker 2000 is an application which can easily remove the date protection from
software. This tool is very useful for shareware or trial versions of software which
expire after a specific date. When being cracked, the software will always say that
“There are 90 days remaining in your trial period” but the software is actually will last
forever.

ii. Advantage of Date Cracker 2000

Date Cracker 2000 is simple and easy to use software that can run directly at
windows platform without the need of virtual platform. The users can use a
shareware or trial version of software indefinitely which means most software which
expires after a certain date can be used well after that date. It also has a simple
interface. Unfortunately, some software cannot be hack because Date Cracker 2000
had a contract with the company.

iii. Screenshot

This is the interface of Date Cracker 2000. Click “Add” button to start.

After you click on “Add”, this will pop-up for you tu enter the description of victim software.
Then, click OK.

This will come out after you click OK on the previous screen. At this step, you have to enter
the Simulated Run Date which is the first time you run the victim software and click on the
“...” button to select the path to save file.

In the previous page, the figure shows the process to choose path to save the file.

After all the steps has been completed, you just need to click on Run and let the process
begin.
