The Diploma Programme

The programme is intensive and experiential, and requires extensive practice and reading outside the
formal tutorial workshops. Participants will share experience and benefit from networking and peer
support in addition to personal tutor support from the programme leaders.

Throughout the programme participants will have the benefit of both 1:1 personal supervision of their
coaching practice and the opportunity to take part in group supervisions. A minimum of 64 practice
coaching sessions is required.

Summary of the Diploma Programme

• Institute of Leadership and Management accredited to Level 7

• 4 days (4 workshops) non-residential workshops
• 6 personal tutorials including 1:1 supervision of coaching practice
• Programme runs over 16 months
• 1:1 tutor support including pre and post programme contact
• Final portfolio of evidence and completion of a practical Work Based Assignment leading to the ILM
Diploma for Professional Executive Coaches and Leadership Mentors

The programme will take place at The Tomlinson Centre, Queensbridge Road (next to Queensbridge
Primary School), Hackney, LONDON, E8 3ND (see map).

Detailed contents of Diploma Programme workshops

This is a 4 day programme and all of the training will run from 09:30 to 16:00. The programme dates are:

Day 1 – 05 October 2009

Introduction to the techniques of coaching supervision plus supervised coaching practice.

Day 2 – 02 November 2009

Group supervision, theory and practice.

Day 3 – 07 December 2009

Initiating contracts with Coachees and clients, agreeing outcomes and creating development plans.

Leadership and creativity in developing successful organisations.

Day 4 – 11 January 2010

Understanding and using networks, practical supervision, continuing professional development.

The cost of the programme is £1,295 plus VAT
