Baseline of Internship in Butwal Power Company

The Internship of Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, Thapathali Campus, is of 90

working days in total. Within this span of time I would like to work as an intern in Butwal
Power Company (BPC).
Internship in Butwal Power Company can be basically divided into two areas of studies.
1. Study at the Center Office
2. On Site Study
I would prefer to study Office in the following areas if I'm given an opportunity at the
Center Office.
1. Study at the Center Office
a) Understand the Design Parameters of Hydropower Plant.
b) Quality Assurance and ISO certification.
c) Project Management Techniques.
d) Technical Documentation Techniques.
2. On Site Study
a) Practical implication of Design of Hydropower Plant.
b) Study and Observe the Environment Mitigation techniques.
c) Maintainability of Plant.
Apart from the above mentioned scope of training, I would be overwhelmed to
receive other training manageable and providable by the company as a basis for my
learning.
