Conclusion of Results
From our results it seems that the majority of our candidates would prefer to watch an American
film over a British Film. The amount of times each candidate visits the cinema per month is relatively
low, only ranging from 0-2 times. Our results showed that even though most people would prefer to
see a 3D film in the cinema, the option of having a 3D TV in the future did not seem to appeal to
many candidates. Only a handful of people purchase a new DVD over a monthly basis and also from
our results these are all standard DVD’s. Our results show that many people choose to view trailers
online before going to see new releases, but on the other hand not many people like to watch new
releases online and would rather go to the cinema. Overall the results of our questionnaire showed
that most people’s favourite films are American rather than British and we also found that our
candidates were able to establish the difference between quality in American and British movies,
therefore American was the dominant movie selection.
