India.
• To create awareness about status of worm infestation among the dairy farmers.
• To provide geographically specific recommendations to dairy farmers for
prevention and control of endoparasitic infections.
RMs / ASMs / VSOs should arrange a deworming awareness campaign in their
respective territories for Jagriti Ek Prayas & All Clear 36 hours challenge. In that campaign they can collect the faecal samples using the procedure given below.
Proper faecal sample collection
Collection of fresh faecal sample in the container.
Add 10% formalin as preservative
Fill the details on the label
Dispatch of collected samples to nearby well
equipped polyclinic or veterinary institution.
Follow up • Properly collected fecal sample will be analyzed in a well equipped lab.
• Fecal sample report will be provided to respective farmer.
• The carbon copy of the report should be mailed to Head Office
with proper mentioning of place, district & state.
