    GROUP PROJECT
    Due: 29 October 2010
    Total Mark: 40 Marks

    In a group, choose any physical object to become your group’s product that can fit the dimension of the

    given workpiece. The main activity is to generate the toolpath for the CNC machining, then post process it

    and use the resulting programs to machine the part.

    In this project, you are supposed to be able to:

     Apply the CAD tool for geometric construction

     Create 2D toolpath generation for different problems

     Produce surface modeling using different technique

     Apply different type cutting technique on surface modeling for roughing and finishing.

    In total, assessment will be based on:

    1. Selection of the product

    2. Written answer

    3. Toolpath generation and demonstration

    4. Machined part

    5. Time delivery
