TECHNIQUES OF TEACHING VOCABULARY

In my view demonsrating, relia and visuals, and pictogram techniques are effective in teaching
vocabulary. Because these techniques give a chance to learners’ inner world to take place in the
learning process. On the other hand techniques like matching or translating are only useful to
memorize a word for a short time so learner can not learn words effectively in these techniques.
I dont like these techniques in teaching vocabulary but they can be used to practice

In my opinion we should be aware of learners’ needs and features to choose the most effective
one. I also believe that the song technique is more effective while teaching young learners.
