THE REMAKE.
 Mise-en-scene.
 This remake, we be filmed on location at Florida, and
then Las Vegas. Hallam will get a job in a casino and
this will be the main place in the film. The roof of the
casino is also a main area. The locations in this
remake will be typical American locations. The
costumes will be tucks and show girl outfits mainly,
this will bring more class to the film.
 Themes.
 The themes in this remake, will be mainly
focused on romance, and losing people close to
you. This means that the film can be focused on
more of a mainstream audience because you
wouldn’t have to worry about upsetting people,
and this would therefore make more of a profit.
 Sound.
 The voice over in the trailer, will be a typical
American accent, also all the actors apart from one
or two will be American. In the casino there will be
music playing, this would be music by American
artists and preferably songs that are in the charts.
 Characters and Actors.
 The Actors and actresses that are staring in this remake are;
Michelle Ryan, a famous English actresses who has been in
films such as Bionic Woman where she played the lead role
and EastEnders where she played a Zoe Slater. The other
lead role is Channing Tatum who has stared in films such
as ‘Step up’ and ‘She’s the man’. This will relate to many
audiences and therefore become mainstream.
 Key Narrative Events.
 The Key Story lines in the remake are; Hallam leaving
home and going to Las Vegas and getting a job in a casino,
Hallam falling in love with a show girl called Claire, she
catches his eye whilst he’s on top of the casino roof, he
making her lose her job because he shows Claire the roof,
Hallam getting her job back and Claire leaves her
boyfriend for him. The story is not as complicated as the
original and this means that the audience does not have to
think about what is going on so much.
