He specialises in the area of sales, finance and marketing and his
personal interest in the markets of Mumbai and Goa has not only
enabled Cloud 9 to outperform here but also create a solid foundation

Mr. Priyesh Ganatra’s expertise and interests goes well beyond the
realm of the business world. He is an avid sport enthusiast and takes
his sport very seriously. He has also competed with distinction at the
Maharashtra Tenpin Bowling Championship. He believes that the
qualities of a good sportsman and a good businessman are similar and
there is a lot that one can learn from the other.

Cloud 9’s Metamorphosis
Before deciding to venture into the market, the management of Cloud 9 conducted a
thorough and detailed study of prevailing market conditions in the energy drink and
cola market, and the entire FMCG sector as a whole. It was revealed in the study that
the FMCG market was mainly dominated by foreign players and the ingredients used
in most of the popular drinks were harmful to the human body.
Keeping in mind the revelations of the study, Goldwin Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. came up
with India’s first natural energy drink and caffeine-free cola that was made purely from
natural ingredients that completely adhered to FDA standards and regulations.
Right at the outset, Cloud 9 recognised the potential of the energy drink market in India
and decided to venture into it with a big push to cement an Indian presence in a scene
dominated by international companies.
Cloud 9 penetrated the market at lightning speed and went on to become the second
biggest player in the country. It was indeed an impressive feat for an FMCG product to
capture the market at the pace that Cloud 9 Energy Drink did. Today, one can ask for
Cloud 9 at one of the 80,000 outlets, more than 30,000 wine shops, high-end pubs and
many five-star hotels across the country. We accredit our success to the combined
efforts of the entire Cloud 9 family.
Realising the role that specialist media vehicles play in communicating a brand’s
message effectively by reaching out to its strategic target audiences, we have spruced
up the branding and publicity efforts of Cloud 9 Cola on Mumbai local trains and
BEST buses, including the hi-tech AC buses which has proved to be very successful
for Cloud 9. We look forward to seeing Cloud 9 Cola gain wider acceptance in the

Cloud 9’s Growth Plank
The Indian market is currently dominated by well established multinational giants who
run a monopoly in various segments, where an Indian presence is at a minimum. Cloud
9 will be the first Indian company after many years to successfully compete with these
monopolistic behemoths.
Goldwin Healthcare will soon be launching an array of products over the coming year.
The product launches include, Tonic Water, Flavoured Mineral Water, Soda and an
Aloe Vera Juice. All these products are 100% natural and devoid of any harmful
ingredients, which is the highlight of Cloud 9 products, but is also among its founding
principles and a key component in the company's overall raison d'etre.
The company will be launching the soda product in tin cans of 200, 330 and 500 ml.
The mineral water product will be positioned in the premium segment. The company
will enter the Juice segment with the apple, mango, orange and lemon flavours.
Furthermore, the company will launch a specialised product of Aloe Vera Juice, which
is especially beneficial for women and children. This product will be the first of its
kind in India. The products will be manufactured at the company’s state-of-the art
facility in Nandur, 40 km from Pune (Maharashtra), spread across 27 acres.
Cloud 9 is also positioning itself to launch its products internationally. Soon the
company will launch its product into the South Asian Subcontinent, Europe and the
GCC Countries.
In the future, Cloud 9 plans to surpass all its earlier successes and aim for higher and
bigger goals. The name, Cloud 9, itself gives a prelude to the ambitions of the company
where, ”The Sky is no more the Limit". Cloud 9 aims to consolidate and grow its
Indian presence all the while expanding into the overseas market.
