Project Description: VISTA is a customized application for the
group of social insurance organizations in Switzerland. It
handles various types of social insurances, pensions and other
benefits. VISTA will be used with the existing VB based client to
aid the processing of Social Insurance of Switzerland.
Social insurance covers four major areas: provision for old age,
for widowed spouses or children ("survivors"), and for the
disabled; provision in cases of sickness or accident;
unemployment insurance and family allowances.
The VISTA Architecture is based on the Enterprise Component
Business Architecture (ECBA). A main feature of this
architecture is the focus on business processes. Business
functions are mapped to modular IT elements and provided as
services on a service bus.
Contribution: • Understanding the business and model of the
modules
• Solely responsible for two important modules in project.
• Vast usage of spring and hibernate technologies in the
module.
• Excessive usage of debugging and testing mechanism for

Project Description: Fixed Income Trade Router (FITR) is used
to process Fixed Income Securities which include Long Bonds,
Commercial Paper, Swaps, Manager Transfers, Corporate
Actions and Futures trades. The primary user of this application
is the Fixed Income Control (FIC) Trade Processing team. The
FITR application tracks compliance, verbal and automated trade
confirmation, facilitates post trade broker confirmation,
compliance check and sends trade information to downstream
systems.
Contribution: Working closely with the Onsite Coordinator to
understand requirements and provide new
features/enhancements to the system to meet Fixed Income

Project Description: EAPT is a part of Lehman Brothers Equity
Service Management which facilitates the execution of portfolios
consisting of European and Asian Equities. This mainly serves
Position Traders, who are enabled to work portfolios with ease.
EAPT works with GPTS (PUMA) which are worked and then
sent to the Downstream Exchanges/ Market via MOM either by
Manual trades or by using Lehman Auto Trading (OAT)
strategies. EAPT also enables Position Traders to give internal
order crossing- executions and does the state management by
Receiving / Sending Acknowledgements from downstream to
Upstream respectively.
Contribution: Working closely with the client to understand
requirements and provide new features/enhancements to the
system to meet Equities team.

generation comprising of Trading details based on Price, Units
(no. of Trades) and other measures.

11 months Cost Transparency
Project Description: The IT Cost Transparency is tasked with
unmasking the chargeback process in which IT costs are
allocated back to the business. It provides transparency of the IT
service allocation model, information which allows business to
understand and impact their costs. Thus Bill to Business
provides a view of IT costs billed to a given Division, Level0,
Level1, Level2 and/or PL. Users can also view the regional
impacts. Costs are split into 4 tabs, each representing a driver
type : Application, Person-Usage Consumption, Person-Based
on Inventory and Essential Services. The Bill is populated with
the data from the OLAP cube.
Contribution: Working closely with the client team to understand
requirements and provide new features/enhancements to the
system. My efforts were highly appreciated by Lehman SVP for

taking lead in the project in the absence of client team lead who
went on long term leave.

15 months KPI-SSAS
Project Description: The KPI project enabled different
departments and users to create view and maintain Key
Performance Indicators with measures and dimensions were
browsable for their business. The proposed system would
provide the integration of the new Analysis Server with the
existing data warehouse and the existing systems, thus enabling
faster business analysis, business intelligence, rich graphics,
charts, graphs and better performance using new Technologies:
Microsoft Analysis Server 2005, Proclarity Analytic Server,
Microsoft .Net 2.0 and related Technologies.
Contribution: Working closely with the client team to understand
requirements and provide new features/enhancements to the
system. I was nominated for FIMC for my contribution in this
project and Wipro team got a client rating of 5/5. The project also
got appreciation from Microsoft team, for exploring the services
provided by SSAS.

line tools to synchronize the KPI metadata in SSAS.
# Involved in ongoing maintenance, performance tuning and
enhancements to the application.
