What are the Effects

of Antibiotics on Bacteria Count?

Study Conducted by Luke Bacon

Hypothesis
The antibiotic can reduce the bacteria count to
zero unless the bacteria are or become resistant
to the antibiotic.

The goal is to find what the bacteria count is

when it has been exposed to the antibiotic in
comparison to when it has not.
Procedures
The petri dishes were filled with agar and swabbed
with the bacteria. Half of the dishes had antibiotic
samples placed inside. The other half were left Mate

Conclusion
In closing, the hypothesis was disproved, though the colonial growth of
the cultures without the antibiotic was extremely high in comparison to
the cultures with it, the ultimate count was quite even, with the
experimental group coming in a close second; the experimental group
retaining much of it’s bacterial growth.
Spiritual Application
In the same way that we use antibiotics today to rid ourselves
of harmful bacteria, funguses, and other afflictions, God had
commanded the Israelites and later generations of Jews and
Christians to do the same of themselves by constantly studying
and focusing on His words and laws and distancing ourselves
from temptations.

31 Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a
new spirit.
- Ezekiel 18:31a
