Past Activities
1. Assumed responsibility for the 12th District Raffle FY 2010/2011
2. Monitored expenses related to District elected and appointed officers for current FY
2009/2010.

12th District Raffle

1. Revenue from the raffle generated a net income to the District. Additionally, the District’s
Flag Sale Program raised positive funds. Total funds realized are indicated in the DKF
Report. These funds, which are part of the District operating Budget under the category of
Economic Development, exceeded the budget projection.
2. The income realized through the raffle and flag sale will allow the District to continue to offer
scholarships to our undergraduate and graduate student Brothers, thereby promoting the
Cardinal Principle of Scholarship, and supporting our Brothers’ academic efforts.
Additionally, the raffle income will help us with the other Uplift programs conducted by the
12th District.

Upcoming Activities and/or Deadlines

1. Continue to monitor expenses related to District elected and appointed officers for current FY
2009/2010.
2. Work with DKRS and DKF to produce final financial reports and close out FY 2009/2010.
3. Produce the raffle for the current fiscal year.

Issues
1. District Raffle chapter participation was not universal. There is room for improvement and,
therefore, greater potential of higher net income. We have time to review all issues that came
up during the 2009/2010 raffle and improve on them as necessary.

Recommendations
1. Conduct the 2010/2011 Raffle using the model of the 2009/2010 FY.
