Endocrine system is a system of glands, each of which secretes a

type of hormone into the bloodstream to regulate the body. The endocrine system
is an information signal system like the nervous system.

Pineal gland is a small endocrine gland in the vertebrate brain. It produces the
serotonin derivative melatonin, a hormone that affects the modulation of
wake/sleep patterns and seasonal functions.

Pituitary gland, or hypophysis, is an endocrine gland about the size of a pea and
weighing 0.5 g (0.02 oz.). It is a protrusion off the bottom of the hypothalamus at
the base of the brain, and rests in a small, bony cavity (sella turcica) covered by a
dural fold (diaphragma sellae).

Thyroid gland or simply, the thyroid, is one of the largest endocrine glands in the
body, and is not to be confused with the "parathyroid glands" (a completely
different set of glands).

Adrenal glands (also known as suprarenal glands) are the triangular-shaped

endocrine glands that sit on top of the kidneys.

Pancreas is a gland organ in the digestive and endocrine system of vertebrates.

Ovary is an ovum-producing reproductive organ, often found in pairs as part of the

vertebrate female reproductive system. Ovaries in females are homologous to
testes in males, in that they are both gonads and endocrine glands.

Testicle (from Latin testiculus, diminutive of testis, meaning "witness" [of virility],
[1]
plural testes) is the male generative gland in animals.
