VISIT OF PROBATIONERS OF 37TH C.T.P.

REGIONAL TAX OFFICE, SUKKUR

Thirty two Probationary Officers belonging to various Occupational Groups of 37th

CTP visited Regional Tax Office, Sukkur on 26th April, 2010 during their Country Study
Tour. The officers of RTO warmly welcomed them. The Chief Commissioner gave a
detailed presentation regarding the working of RTO, Tax Reforms and Functional
distribution of work. The presentation covered the following areas:

i- Jurisdiction of RTO Sukkur.

ii- Taxes administrated under Inland Revenue in the RTO.
iii- Role & functions of TFCCs in Mufasil areas.
iv- Targets & Collection of taxes by RTO Sukkur.
v- Automation & Tax facilitation.

Questions asked by the probationers at the end of the presentation were

responded by the Chief Commissioner. Mr. Ahmed Nadeem, Additional Director,
Civil Services Academy, Lahore presented a shield of Academy to the Chief
Commissioner.

After formal presentation, the visiting officers were divided into five groups
and each group visited different Divisions of the RTO. The officer incharge of the unit
briefed them regarding the practical work done at each section. The Chief
Commissioner, Commissioner (Audit) & Additional Commissioner (Enforcement)
presented shields of RTO Sukkur to each probationer. At the end of event the visiting
officers were served with high tea.
