Rajiv Gandhi Handicraft Bhawan

 
Rajiv Gandhi Handicraft Bhawan consists of 15 different showrooms managed by
different agencies namely Craft Council of India (KAMALA), Tribes India( TRIFED),
NEHHDC ( PURBASHREE), SARAS (MOHA- Ministry of Rural Development), SEWA (Self
Employed Women’s Association) , EPCH, Handloom House, FDDI, Sikkim, Chhattisgarh
state emporium (SHABARI), Uttarakhand, Goa, Jharkhand (JOHAR), Industree (Mother
Earth) and COHANDS.
 
There is ample space in front of showroom to organize live demonstrations wherein
artisans work on their crafts. The details regarding this can be worked out in
consultation with each of the fifteen different showrooms operating in the Rajiv Gandhi
Handicraft Bhawan. There is also an oppurunitiy to organize cultural events in the
evenings.
