How are we to present

Ourselves before God as clean

vessels of honor?
The whole purpose of man is to fear God
and keep his commandments
(Ecclesiastes 12:13). If God created man
in his own image (Gen 1:26-27) to
become holy in all things we do and say
as in (1 Peter 1:15), then we are to
honor the laws that make us clean.
Having a clean mind and body is holy.
(Proverbs 16:1-3)

Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am

holy (1 Peter 1:16). Therefore we eat
clean foods ordained by God as holy and
our thoughts in conversation which we
partake is illustrated in our works of
righteousness according to God's laws.
HOW ARE WE TO PRESENT

OURSELVES BEFORE GOD?

Today, most food industries disregard what is healthy by using
preservatives, additives, petrochemicals, and etc. for presentation,
variety, and taste but many do not realize that the food produced may
pose health risks and concerns to the body. Many of the preservatives
and food dyes are made from things are unclean and so on.

More important, what does God deem clean versus unclean? Since the
body is the vessel is like unto a tabernacle for God's dwelling with man (1
Chronicles 22:19). We have to ask ourselves, what does God command
of us in respect being present with us (2 Timothy 2:20-22) daily? Our
relationship with God starts with honoring his commandments (John
14:15).

Lets examine what God deems as clean unto man so that we are not
deceived from God's understanding of what he expects of us.

Job 25:4
How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is
born of a woman?

Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
(Ezekiel 37:23, 2 Corinthians 7:1)

God commands us to be clean in mind (spiritual) and body (physical).

Many people may believe you can eat anything as long as you pray over
it according to I Timothy 4:1-5, but is that really what Paul means? Lets
take a look at these scriptures as God tells us that his word is established
between two or more witnesses; therefore his word is not of any private
interpretation.

Proverb 28:4, 9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law,
even his prayer shall be abomination.
Romans 15:4-6
Leviticus 11:1-4, 7-9, 43-47 God commands us to eat only clean
beasts
I Peter 1:13-17
Deuteronomy 14:1-3, 7-9 God lets us know again what is clean and
unclean

John 5:42-47 Jesus tells us if you have not believed Moses, then you
do not believe in him because Moses wrote of him.
