ELIGIBILITY for MBA, MBA (IB), MBA (HR) A recognized Bachelor's
degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate
or a pass in final examination conducted by ICAI/ICWAI/ICSI or AMIE
with 50% marks (See UBS Handbook of Information 2011).
ELIGIBILITY for MBA (Biotech) A Bachelor's degree in Biological
Sciences, i.e., Biology, Botany, Microbiology, Zoology,
Biochemistry, Biophysics, Genetics, Pharmacy, Biotechnology,
Veterinary Sciences, BE/B.Tech (Biotechnology), B.Sc. (Bioinformatics),
MBBS, BDS and BE (Informatics) with not less than 50% marks in the
aggregate (See UBS Handbook of Information 2011).
Candidates appearing in final degree examination are eligible to
apply and can take the test provisionally. Reservation as per
approved norms of Panjab University. Concession of 5% marks
in the eligibility requirements of SC/ST/BC candidates.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE Take Common Admission Test (CAT) 2010
to be conducted by IIMs. NO SEPARATE ENTRANCE TEST will be
conducted by UBS or Panjab Univeristy for these programmes.
APPLY SEPARATELY TO UBS, CHANDIGARH APPLICATION FORM
and HANDBOOK OF INFORMATION 2011 will be available at Post
Office, Sector-14, Panjab University, Chandigarh, on payment of
Rs. 2000/- (Rs. 1000/- for SC/ST candidates) from September 24, 2010
to October 26, 2010). Forms can also be obtained by post upto
October 12, 2010 from Manager, Publication Bureau, Panjab University,
Chandigarh, by enclosing a crossed Bank Draft for Rs. 2080/-
(Rs. 1080/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of Registrar,
Panjab University, Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh, and a
self-addressed envelope (30x25 cms). Application Form can also be
downloaded from our website: http://ubs.puchd.ac.in and submitted
alongwith a Bank Draft for Rs. 2000/- (Rs. 1000/- for SC/ST candidates) in
favour of Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh.
COMPLETED FORMS FOR MBA, MBA (IB), MBA (HR), and MBA
(BIOTECH) must reach Chairman, University Business School,
Panjab University, Chandigarh-160014, latest by 4.00 PM on
October 26, 2010. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT Scores
have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Details of

IMPORTANT NOTE: (1) University uses CAT Scores for shortlisting
of candidates for two-year full time MBA programmes. IIMs have no
role either in selection process or in the conduct of the programmes.
