This document describes four diseases: extradural abscess, subdural abscess, meningitis, and provides signs and symptoms, diagnosis methods, and treatment therapies for each. Extradural abscess occurs between the bone and dura and causes persistent headache and ear discharge, diagnosed via CT or MRI. Therapy includes mastoidectomy and antibiotics. Subdural abscess occurs between dura and arachnoid, causing meningeal irritation symptoms and raised intracranial pressure, diagnosed via CT/MRI. Therapy includes craniotomy and antibiotics.
