PTU-CII Industrial Training Initiative

for B.Tech. Final Year Students

Period: 01 January 2011 to 15 July 2011

Eligibility Conditions:
1. Aggregate 60% marks and above up to 5th semester of B.Tech.
2. Preference will be given to students as per following:
a) No reappear pending up to 5th semester at the time of registration
b) One reappear pending
c) Two reappears pending
3. Students having three or more reappears pending at the time of registration
are not eligible to apply
4. Students should be ready to work live on the shop floor and learn the skills
for six months
5. Students shall be working 8 hours a day in 3 shifts and 6 days a week for all
weeks
6. Students should be regular, punctual and should maintain the discipline at
the working place for the entire period of training
7. Students shall make their own arrangements for accommodation in local
hostels or PG rooms

Benefits of Training:
1. Students would be given a stipend in the range Rs 3000-4000 depending
upon the capability of the candidate
2. Students will get an opportunity to work live on the shop floor and learn the
practical skills
3. Such on the job training will help the students to get good placements
