Mark your calendars! The book fair will be here on November 11-18! Family night
will be November 16th. We have renewed the school’s subscription to Tumblebooks!
The web address is www.tumblebooks.com. The username is dutchfork and the
password is books. Nothing has a greater impact on a student’s educational success
than being a good reader. And, being a good reader starts at home when a child is
read to by their parents. Please take a few minutes every day to read to your
children. We all lead busy lives but I promise you, the time spent reading to and with
your children will pay off later in ways you cannot even imagine now. If you would
like to check out library books in your name, please come by the library anytime to
do this. Mrs. Newman and I will be happy to help you select great books that you will
Remember these dates . . . enjoy reading with your child. Also, I would like to encourage you to take advantage
of the fabulous public libraries that we are so fortunate to have in our area! Happy
Reading!
