About Me
I’m a pretty cool dude who loves to read, write
poetry, and travel. I was born sometime in 1343 in
London, but I don’t know exactly when my birthday
is (the folks back then didn’t always keep the best
records). Some people have called me “The father
of English literature,” and I’m best known for my
little book, The Canterbury Tales. I’m married to my
lovely wife, Philippa, and we have a few children (I
think 3 or 4, but I can’t be sure). I’ve lived a very
interesting life and have had many jobs, but my real
passion is writing about the people I observe
everyday. Human nature and the rules of society
fascinate me to no end! Some people have said that
I have a wicked sense of humor, but I’ll let you be
the judge of that! Want to know more? Just leave

autograph. How cool is that?!?
Wife of Bath Geoffrey, I need some

husband, Sam. I just can’t get him to do

diligently to get my latest book, The
Canterbury Tales, copied and sent to the

interesting group of people today who
were on their way to Canterbury. Hmm…I
think I might have an idea for a new book!
