Allah,
the
Exalted
said,
“Have
We
not
made
for
him
a
pair
of
eyes?
And
a
tongue
and
a
pair
of
lips?”
(Al-‐
Balad:8-‐9)
Allah,
the
Exalted
also
said,
“The
Most
Bene=icent
(Allâh)!
Has
taught
(you
mankind)
the
Qur'ân
(by
His
Mercy).
He
created
man.
He
taught
him
eloquent
speech.”
(Ar-‐Rahman
55:1-‐4)
Lesson # 2
And
the
Messenger
of
Allah
sallallahu
alayhe
wa
sallam
said,
“The
Muslim
is
the
one
from
whose
tongue
and
hand
the
(other)
Muslims
are
safe.”
[Al-‐Bukhari
and
Muslim
reported
it]
Lesson # 3
ﺗﺬﻛﺮ ﺻﺪﻳﻘﻲ اﳌﺴﻠﻢ أن ﻃﺮﻳﻘﺔ اﻟﻜﻼم ﻣﻊ اﻷﺻﺪﻗﺎء و اﻹﺧﻮة ﺗﺨﺘﻠﻒ ﻋﻦ ﻃﺮﻳﻘﺔ اﻟﻜﻼم
ﻟﻜﻞ ﻣﻨﺎﺳﺒﺔ ﻛﻼم: و ﺗﺬﻛﺮ أﻧﻪ ﻟﻜﻞ ﻣﻘﺎم ﻣﻘﺎل؛ أي.ﻣﻊ اﻷﻗﺎرب أو اﳌﻌﻠﻤﲔ أو اﻟﻐﺮﺑﺎء
ﻓﺎﻟﻌﺒﺎرات اﳌﺴﺘﺨﺪﻣﺔ ﻓﻲ اﳌﻨﺎﺳﺒﺎت اﻟﺴﻌﻴﺪة ﺗﺨﺘﻠﻒ ﻋﻦ ﺗﻠﻚ اﳌﺴﺘﺨﺪﻣﺔ،ﺧﺎص ﺑﻬﺎ
.ﻓﻲ اﳌﻨﺎﺳﺒﺎت اﳉﺪﻳﺔ أو اﳊﺰﻳﻨﺔ
و، رد اﻟﺴﻼم:”ﺣﻖ اﳌﺴﻠﻢ ﻋﻠﻰ اﳌﺴﻠﻢ ﺧﻤﺲ:ﻗﺎل رﺳﻮل اﷲ ﺻﻠﻰ اﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ و ﺳﻠﻢ
“ )رواه اﻟﺒﺨﺎري و. و ﺗﺸﻤﻴﺖ اﻟﻌﺎﻃﺲ، و إﺟﺎﺑﺔ اﻟﺪﻋﻮة، و اﺗﺒﺎع اﳉﻨﺎﺋﺰ،ﻋﻴﺎدة اﳌﺮﻳﺾ
(ﻣﺴﻠﻢ
Remember
my
Muslim
friend
that
the
way
of
speaking
with
the
friends
and
the
brothers
differ
from
the
way
of
speaking
with
the
relatives
or
the
teachers
or
the
strangers.
And
remember
that
there
is
a
saying
for
every
situation;
meaning:
there
is
a
special
saying
for
every
occasion,
therefore,
the
used
expressions
in
the
happy
occasions
differ
from
those
used
in
the
serious
occasions
or
grieved.
The
Messenger
of
Allah
sallallahu
alayhe
wa
sallam
said,
“The
right
of
Muslim
upon
(another)
Muslim
are
=ive:
Returning
the
Greeting
(the
salam),
visiting
the
sick,
following
the
funeral
processions,
accepting
the
invitation,
responding
to
the
sneezer
[saying,
`Yarhamuk-Allah
(may
Allah
bestow
His
Mercy
on
you),'
when
the
sneezer
praises
Allah
saying
Alhamdulillah
(All
Praises
belong
to
Allah)].''

and

Lesson # 4
ﻻ ﻓﺎﺋﺪة ﻣﻨﻪ؛ ﻳﺎ ﺻﺪﻳﻘﻲ، ﻛﻔﺎك ﻟﻐﻮا:٢۲# . ﻻ أﺣﺐ أن أﻟﻌﺐ ﻣﻌﻪ، إﻧﻪ ﻃﻔﻞ أﺣﻤﻖ:١۱#

dirty
talk,
there
is
no
benefit
from
it;
O
my

ﻫﻞ ﺗﻌﻠﻢ ﺻﺪﻳﻘﻲ اﻟﺒﺮﻋﻢ أﻧﻪ ﻳﺠﺐ ﻋﻠﻰ اﳌﺴﻠﻢ أن ﻳﺒﺘﻌﺪ ﻋﻦ اﻟﻜﻼم اﻟﺬي ﻻ ﻓﺎﺋﺪة ﻣﻨﻪ؛
أو ﻋﻤﻞ، ﻛﻌﻠﻢ ﻧﺎﻓﻊ، ﻓﻼ ﺗﺘﻜﻠﻢ إﻻ ﲟﺎ ﻓﻴﻪ اﳋﻴﺮ ﻟﻚ و ﻟﻐﻴﺮك.و ﻫﻮ ﻣﺎ ﻳﺪﻋﻰ ﺑﺎﻟﻠﻐﻮ
. أو أﻣﺮ ﺑﺎﳌﻌﺮوف و ﻧﻬﻲ ﻋﻦ اﳌﻨﻜﺮ، أو إﺻﻼح ﺑﲔ اﻟﻨﺎس،ﺻﺎﻟﺢ
أو،”ﻣﻦ ﻛﺎن ﻳﺆﻣﻦ ﺑﺎﷲ و اﻟﻴﻮم اﻵﺧﺮ؛ ﻓﻠﻴﻘﻞ ﺧﻴﺮا:ﻗﺎل رﺳﻮل اﷲ ﺻﻠﻰ اﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ و ﺳﻠﻢ
(“ )رواه اﻟﺒﺨﺎري و ﻣﺴﻠﻢ.ﻟﻴﺼﻤﺐ
Do
you
know
my
friend
Bar3am
that
it
is
obligatory
upon
the
Muslim
to
stay
away
from
the
speech
there
is
no
beneRit
from
it,
and
it
is
what
is
called
dirty
talk.
So,
do
not
speak
except
with
that
in
which
there
is
beneRit
for
you
and
for
those
other
than
you,
like
beneRicial
knowledge,
or
righteous
actions,
or
reconciliation
between
people,
or
enjoining
good
and
forbidding
evil.
The
Messenger
of
Allah
sallallahu
alayhe
wa
sallam
said,
“Whoever
believes
in
Allah
and
the
Last
Day,
must
speak
good,
or
remain
silent.”
[Al-‐Bukhari
and
Muslim
reported
it]
Lesson # 5
ﻛﻔﺎك ﺻﺮاﺧﺎ
Enough
screaming
Allah,
the
Exalted
says,
"And
lower
your
voice.
Verily,
the
harshest
of
all
voices
is
the
voice
(braying)
of
the
ass."
[Surah
Luqman
31:19]
Lesson # 6
أﻧﺼﺖ ﻳﺎ أﺧﻲ
Listen
O
my
brother
إذا ﻛﻨﺖ ﻓﻲ ﻣﺠﻠﺲ ﻳﺤﻀﺮه ﻣﻦ ﻫﻮ أﻛﺒﺮ ﻣﻨﻚ ﺳﻨﺎ و أﻛﺜﺮ ﻋﻠﻤﺎ؛ ﻓﺎﺗﺮك:ﺻﺪﻳﻘﻲ اﳌﺆﻣﻦ
و اﺣﺬر أن ﺗﻘﺎﻃﻊ أﺣﺪا أﺛﻨﺎء ﻛﻼﻣﻪ؛ ﺑﻞ اﻧﺘﻈﺮ، إﻻ إذا ﻃﻠﺒﻮا ﻣﻨﻚ اﻟﻜﻼم،اﻟﻜﻼم إﻟﻴﻬﻢ
....ﺣﺘﻰ ﻳﻨﻬﻲ اﳌﺘﺤﺪث ﻛﻼﻣﻪ؛ ﺛﻢ ﲢﺪث
”ﻟﻴﺲ ﻣﻨﺎ ﻣﻦ ﻟﻢ ﻳﺮﺣﻢ ﺻﻘﻴﺮﻧﺎ و ﻳﻮﻗﺮ:ﻗﺎل رﺳﻮل اﷲ ﺻﻠﻰ اﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ و ﺳﻠﻢ
(“ )رواه اﻟﺘﺮﻣﺬي.ﻛﺒﻴﺮﻧﺎ
My
believing
friend:
if
you
are
in
a
gathering
(where)
those
older
than
you
in
age
or
has
more
knowledge
than
you
attend
it,
then
leave
off
speaking
to
them,
except
if
they
request
you
to
speak,
and
beware
to
interrupt
anyone
during
his
conversation;
but
wait
until
the
speaker
Rinishes
his
speech;
then
you
speak….
The
Messenger
of
Allah
sallallahu
alayhe
wa
sallam
said,
“He
is
not
from
us
who
does
not
have
mercy
on
your
young
ones
and
does
not
respect
our
elders.”
[Attirmidhe
reported
it]
Lesson # 7
ﻓﺈﻧﻪ ﺧﻠﻖ ذﻣﻴﻢ و ذﻧﺐ، وإﻳﺎك و اﻟﻜﺬب،ﺗﻌﻮد ﺻﺪﻳﻘﻲ اﳌﺴﻠﻢ ﻗﻮل اﳊﻖ و اﻟﺼﺪق
ﻷﻧﻪ ﻳﺴﺒﺐ، و اﻟﻜﺎذب ﺷﺨﺺ ﺳﻲء و ﺷﺮﻳﺮ و ﻣﻨﺒﻮذ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻨﺎس.ﻋﻈﻴﻢ ﻋﻨﺪ اﷲ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ
. و ﻓﻲ اﻵﺧﺮة ﻳﻘﻮد اﻟﻜﺬب ﺻﺎﺣﺒﻪ إﻟﻰ ﻧﺎر ﺟﻬﻨﻢ.اﻟﻌﺪاوة و اﻟﺒﻐﻀﺎء ﺑﻴﻨﻬﻢ
، و إن اﻟﺒﺮ ﻳﻬﺪي إﻟﻰ اﳉﻨﺔ،”إن اﻟﺼﺪق ﻳﻬﺪي إﻟﻰ اﻟﺒﺮ:ﻗﺎل اﻟﻨﺒﻲ ﺻﻠﻰ اﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ و ﺳﻠﻢ
و إن، و إن اﻟﻜﺬب ﻳﻬﺪي إﻟﻰ اﻟﻔﺠﻮر،و إن اﻟﺮﺟﻞ ﻟﻴﺼﺪق ﺣﺘﻰ ﻳﻜﺘﺐ ﻋﻨﺪ اﷲ ﺻﺪﻳﻘﺎ
“ )رواه. و إن اﻟﺮﺟﻞ ﻟﻴﻜﺬب ﺣﺘﻰ ﻳﻜﺘﺐ ﻋﻨﺪ اﷲ ﻛﺬاﺑﺎ،اﻟﻔﺠﻮر ﻳﻬﺪي إﻟﻰ اﻟﻨﺎر
(اﻟﺒﺨﺎري و ﻣﺴﻠﻢ
My
friend
be
accustomed
to
saying
the
just
and
true
(speech),
and
beware
of
lying,
because
it
is
a
disgraceful
character
and
a
great
sin
with
Allah,
the
Exalted.
The
liar
is
a
evil,
wicked,
outcast
person
from
the
people,
because
he
causes
hostility
and
hatred
amongst
them.
And
in
the
Hereafter
the
lying
will
lead
him
to
Hell-‐Rire.
The
Prophet
sallallahu
alayhe
wa
sallam
said,
“Indeed
the
truthfulness
guides
to
the
righteousness,
and
Indeed
the
righteousness
guides
to
the
Paradise,
Indeed
a
man
persists
in
speaking
the
truth
until
he
is
written
with
Allah
as
a
truthful,
and
indeed
the
lying
guides
to
wickedness,
and
indeed
the
wickedness
guides
to
the
Fire
(Hell),
Indeed
a
man
persists
in
telling
lies
until
he
is
written
with
Allah
as
a
liar.”
[Al-‐Bukhri
and
Muslim
reported
it]
Lesson # 8
Allah,
the
Exalted
says,
“Do
not
backbite
one
another.
Would
one
of
you
like
to
eat
the
=lesh
of
his
dead
brother?
You
would
hate
it
(so
hate
backbiting).
And
fear
Allâh.
Verily,
Allâh
is
the
One
Who
accepts
repentance,
Most
Merciful.”
[Al-‐Hujurat
49:12]
Lesson # 9
ﻧﻘﻞ اﻷﺣﺎدﻳﺚ ﺑﲔ: اﺣﺮص ﻋﻠﻰ أن ﺗﺼﻮن ﻟﺴﺎﻧﻚ ﻋﻦ اﻟﻨﻤﻴﻤﺔ؛ و ﻫﻲ:ﺻﺪﻳﻘﻲ اﻟﺒﺮﻋﻢ
ﻓﺎﻟﻨﻤﻴﻤﺔ ذﻧﺐ ﻋﻈﻴﻢ و ﺧﻠﻖ. و زرع اﻷﺣﻘﺎد ﻓﻲ ﻗﻠﻮﺑﻬﻢ،اﻟﻨﺎس ﻟﻺﻓﺴﺎد و اﻟﺘﻔﺮﻳﻖ ﺑﻴﻨﻬﻢ
و. و ﻳﻨﻔﺮون ﻣﻨﻪ، ﻳﺤﺘﻘﺮه اﻟﻨﺎس، و اﻟﻨﻤﺎم إﻧﺴﺎن ﻣﺮﻳﺾ ﻓﻲ أﺧﻼﻗﻪ و ﻧﻔﺴﻪ.ﺳﻲء
.ﻣﺼﻴﺮه إﻟﻰ ﻧﺎر ﺟﻬﻨﻢ ﻳﻮم اﻟﻘﻴﺎﻣﺔ
:“ )ﺳﻮرة اﻟﻘﻠﻢ.”و ﻻ ﺗﻄﻊ ﻛﻞ ﺣﻼف ﻣﻬﲔ * ﻫﻤﺎز ﻣﺸﺎء ﺑﻨﻤﻴﻢ:ﻗﺎل اﷲ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ
“ )رواه اﻟﺒﺨﺎري و.”ﻻ ﻳﺪﺧﻞ اﳉﻨﺔ ﳕﺎم:( ﻗﺎل رﺳﻮل اﷲ ﺻﻠﻰ اﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ و ﺳﻠﻢ١۱١۱-١۱
(ﻣﺴﻠﻢ
My
friend
Bar3am:
Hasten
to
preserve
your
tongue
from
the
gossiping;
and
it
is
carrying
the
tales
between
the
people
in
order
to
cause
corruption
and
separation
between
them,
to
plant
the
animosity
in
their
hearts.
Tale
carrying
is
a
great
sin
and
evil
character.
And
the
tale
carrier
is
a
sick
person
in
his
character
and
in
his
soul,
the
people
despise
him
and
detest
him.
And
his
destiny
is
to
the
Hell-‐Rire
on
the
day
of
standing.
Allah,
the
Exalted
asked,
"And
obey
not
everyone
who
swears
much,
and
is
considered
worthless,
A
slanderer,
going
about
with
calumnies.”
(Al-‐Qalam
68:10-‐11)
The
Messenger
of
Allah
sallallahu
alayhe
wa
sallam
said,
“Tale
carrier
will
not
enter
the
Paradise.”
[Al-‐
Bukhari
and
Muslim
reported
it]
Lesson # 10
ﻓﺈذا، و ﺧﺎﺻﺔ ﺑﻐﻴﺮ اﷲ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ، اﺣﺮص ﻋﻠﻰ ﻋﺪم اﳊﻠﻒ أﺛﻨﺎء ﺣﺪﻳﺜﻚ:ﺻﺪﻳﻘﻲ اﳌﺴﻠﻢ
و إﻳﺎك أن ﲢﻠﻒ ﻛﺎذﺑﺎ ﻋﻠﻰ أﻣﺮ؛ ﻓﻬﺬا ﻫﻮ”اﻟﻴﻤﲔ.اﺿﻄﺮرت ﻟﺘﺤﻠﻒ ﻓﺎﺣﻠﻒ ﺑﺎﷲ ﻓﻘﻂ
.“”اﻟﻜﺒﺎﺋﺮ: و ﻫﻮ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺬﻧﻮب اﻟﻌﻈﺎم؛ اﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﺴﻤﻰ،“اﻟﻐﻤﻮس
ﻓﻤﻦ ﻛﺎن،”إن اﷲ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ﻳﻨﻬﺎﻛﻢ أن ﲢﻠﻔﻮا ﺑﺂﺑﺎﺋﻜﻢ:ﻗﺎل رﺳﻮل اﷲ ﺻﻠﻰ اﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ و ﺳﻠﻢ
(“ )رواه اﻟﺒﺨﺎري. أو ﻟﻴﺼﻤﺖ،ﺣﺎﻟﻔﺎ؛ ﻓﻠﻴﺤﻠﻒ ﺑﺎﷲ

friend:
Hasten
to
leaving
of
swearing
during
your
speech,
and
speciRically
(swearing)
by
other
than
Allah,
the
Exalted,
if
you
are
compelled
to
swear,
then
swear
by
Allah
only.
And
be
aware
of
making
false
oath
upon
a
matter;
for
this
is
“the
false
oath,”
and
it
is
from
the
major
sins;
that
is
called:
the
major
–
Al-‐Kabaaer.
The
Messenger
of
Allah
sallallahu
alayhe
wa
sallam
said,
“Indeed
Allah,
the
Exalted
forbids
you
to
swear
by
your
fathers,
so
whoever
swears,
then
let
him
swear
by
Allah,
or
let
him
stay
quiet.”
[Al-‐Bukhari
reported
it]
Lesson # 11
إﻳﺎﻛﻢ و اﻟﺘﻨﺎﺟﻲ
Be
aware
of
Secret
Whispering
The
Messenger
of
Allah
sallallahu
alayhe
wa
sallam
said,
“When
you
are
three
persons
sitting
together,
then
no
two
of
you
should
hold
secret
counsel
excluding
the
third
person
until
you
are
with
some
other
people
too,
for
that
would
grieve
him.”
[Reported
by
Al-‐Bukhari
and
Muslim]
Lesson # 12
و اﺷﻐﻞ ﻟﺴﺎﻧﻚ داﺋﻤﺎ، اﺑﺘﻌﺪ ﻋﻦ اﳉﺪال و اﻟﻨﻘﺎش اﻟﺬي ﻻ ﻓﺎﺋﺪة ﻣﻨﻪ:ﺻﺪﻳﻘﻲ اﻟﺒﺮﻋﻢ
و اﻟﻨﺼﺢ، أو ﺑﺒﺬل اﳌﻌﺮوف ﻟﻠﻨﺎس، و ﺗﻼوة اﻟﻘﺮآن اﻟﻜﺮﱘ، و اﻻﺳﺘﻐﻔﺎر،ﺑﺬﻛﺮ اﷲ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ
. و اﻹﺻﻼح ﺑﻴﻨﻬﻢ،ﻟﻬﻢ
”ﻻ ﺧﻴﺮ ﻓﻲ ﻛﺜﻴﺮ ﻣﻦ ﳒﻮاﻫﻢ إﻻ ﻣﻦ أﻣﺮ ﺑﺼﺪﻗﺔ أو ﻣﻌﺮوف أو إﺻﻼح ﺑﲔ:ﻗﺎل اﷲ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ
“.اﻟﻨﺎس و ﻣﻦ ﻳﻔﻌﻞ ذﻟﻚ اﺑﺘﻐﺎء ﻣﺮﺿﺎت اﷲ ﻓﺴﻮف ﻧﺆﺗﻴﻪ أﺟﺮا ﻋﻈﻴﻤﺎ
(١۱١۱٤ :)ﺳﻮرة اﻟﻨﺴﺎء

Stay
away
from
controversy
and
debate
in
which
there
is
no
beneRit
from,
and
busy
your
tongue
always
with
the
remembrance
of
Allah,
the
Exalted,
and
seeking
of
forgiveness,
and
recitation
of
the
Noble
Quraan,
or
by
doing
good
to
the
people,
and
advising
them
and
bring
about
reconciliation
between
them.
Allah,
the
Exalted
said,
“There
is
no
good
in
most
of
their
secret
talks
save
(in)
him
who
orders
Sadaqah
(charity
in
Allâh's
Cause),
or
Ma'rûf
(Islâmic
Monotheism
and
all
the
good
and
righteous
deeds
which
Allâh
has
ordained),
or
conciliation
between
mankind,
and
he
who
does
this,
seeking
the
good
Pleasure
of
Allâh,
We
shall
give
him
a
great
reward.”
(An-‐Nisa
4:114)
Lesson # 13
The
Messenger
of
Allah
sallallahu
alayhe
wa
sallam
said,
“Owe
to
the
one
who
speaks
with
speech,
speaking
falsely,
in
order
to
make
people
laugh
by
it,
owe
to
him,
owe
to
him.”
[Abu
Dawud
reported
it]
