‘Oxbridge’ admissions talk for Year 13 students who have applied to Oxford or Cambridge,
by Dr Andrew Bell, Admissions Tutor, Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge
Wednesday 3rd November 2010
As part of the school’s programme to prepare Year 13 students for ‘Oxbridge’ entrance, I am pleased to be
able to announce the above event on Wednesday 3rd November.
Dr Andrew Bell is admissions tutor at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, and is therefore responsible
for undergraduate admissions. Dr Bell has previously spoken at CRGS, and has this year in addition to his
general talk on the ‘Oxbridge’ admissions process, has this year agreed to give an extra talk on ‘The
Oxbridge Interview’ to those in Year 13 who have applied for Oxford or Cambridge and will therefore be
facing interviews before Christmas.
The talk will commence in the Hall at 5.00 p.m. and will last for about an hour, which will include time for
questions and discussion. Please note that the talk is restricted to students who have applied to Oxford or
Cambridge.
I am certain that the talk will form an invaluable part of your preparation for your interview and am sure that
you would wish to attend.
I would be grateful if you would let me know if you wish to attend by completing the tear-off slip below and
returning it to school reception no later than Thursday, 21st October, so that I may have a fair idea of
numbers.
Yours sincerely,
Talk to Oxbridge interviewees by Dr Andrew Bell, Admissions Tutor, Gonville and Caius
College,
Cambridge: Wednesday, 3rd November, 2010 in the School Hall at 5.00 p.m.
