‘Oxbridge’ Admissions Talk for Year 12 Students and Parents, by Dr Andrew Bell,
Admissions Tutor, Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge
Wednesday 3rd November 2010

As part of the school’s programme to prepare Year 12 students for university entrance, I am pleased to be
able to announce the above event on Wednesday 3rd November.

Dr Andrew Bell is admissions tutor at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, and is therefore responsible
for undergraduate admissions. Dr Bell has previously spoken at CRGS, and has this year kindly agreed to
repeat his very enjoyable and informative talk about the ‘Oxbridge’ admissions procedure.

The talk will commence in the Hall at 7.30 p.m. and will last for about an hour. After the talk, there will be an
opportunity to question Dr Bell on the ‘Oxbridge’ admissions procedures. I am sure that this talk will be
relevant not only to our Year 12 students who will be applying to university in less than a year’s time, but
also to their parents/guardians and any interested siblings alike.

Dr Bell is happy to answer questions on all academic subjects during the evening. The evening should
close by approximately 9.00 p.m. Parking will be available on the large close, accessed via Creffield Road.

I would be grateful if you would let me know if you wish to attend by completing the tear-off slip below and
returning it to school reception no later than Thursday, 21st October, so that I may have a fair idea of
numbers.
