Minelab musketeer xs is different than a Tesoro, I have had my share of them. They are deep, handle iron very well with the 8' coil, can be swung fast or slow. Only drawback is they are not lightweight like the Tesoros.

They are different than a Tesoro, I have had my share of them. They definitely handle hot mineralized ground better than any Tesoro I owned and doesn't loose much depth when turning up disc. They are deep, handle iron very well with the 8' coil, can be swung fast or slow. They are pretty versatile, they have no problems hitting small gold. Only drawback is they are not lightweight like the Tesoros. If you rear mount th e box, it makes a 100% difference and if you convert to a straight shaft it will balance beautifully.
